This blog is about the experience of living with whippets, lurchers and other sighthounds. Sighthounds include breeds of dogs such as greyhounds, wolfhounds and staghounds. Anyone who has been lucky enough to spend time with a sighthound will know the joys and frustrations involved.
I’m talking about zoomies, cockroaching, contortion, honk face and bitey face. (See my post on whippet behaviour for explanations and pictures)
Unlike most results that come when you google “whippet”, this is not a site about breeding, selling or racing dogs. This blog is more about sharing the joy that comes with living with whippets and their sighthound cousins.
I hope people will enjoy the stories and pictures and feel comfortable to let me know of their own whippet adventures.
